🚀 How to Play (Quickstart Guide)

🏠 For the Host (Opening your world)

1. Load into your singleplayer world and press Esc.
2. Click the [ Peerless ] button (located on the pause menu).
3. Choose your world rules: Game Mode, Allow Commands, Whitelist, and Authentication Mode.
4. Click Create Room.
5. Copy your 8-character room code (e.g. PEER-2026) and send it to your friends!

🎮 For Guests (Joining a friend)

1. Open Minecraft and go to the Multiplayer menu.
2. Click the [ 🍐 Peerless ] button in the top-right corner.
3. Paste the host's room code and click Join room.
4. You're in! Enjoy playing together!

Q: Do all players need to have Peerless installed?
A: Yes. Both the host and all connecting guests must have Peerless installed, along with matching versions of any content/block/entity mods in the world.

Q: Can I use Peerless in modpacks?
A: Yes, absolutely! You are free to include Peerless in any CurseForge, Modrinth, or custom modpack. Make sure all players in your party use the exact same modpack version.

Q: Does it work if I or my friend have CGNAT, strict NAT, or mobile data?
A: Yes! While Peerless prefers direct peer-to-peer (via WebRTC and UPnP), it includes an automatic fallback relay over encrypted WSS (port 443) that punches through strict firewalls, school networks, and symmetric NATs.

Q: Does Peerless collect any personal data?
A: No. Signaling is 100% ephemeral and anonymous. Room codes expire automatically when you leave the game. No IP addresses, usernames, world files, or coordinates are ever collected or saved.

Q: How can I check TPS and connection status?
A: Run /p2ptps in chat while in-game to see live integrated server TPS and connection metrics.
