About this project
What does ExtractCraft: Pouch Edition add?
Secure containers that keep your loot when you die. Inspired by the secure container mechanics of extraction style survival games, ExtractCraft brings a loot and progression loop to Minecraft. Explore the Bunker, find containers, and upgrade them into bigger tiers so your most valuable items survive death.
Features
- Keep your loot on death: anything stored inside a container stays with you when you die.
- Six secure containers ranging from 4 to 12 slots, each with its own grid size.
- The Bunker, a custom structure where you find containers and the components to upgrade them.
- Two ways to progress: upgrade at the Pouch Table, then continue through the quest system.
- A rare special find, the Warrior's Container, hidden in the deepest loot.
- Themed blocks that fit the bunker aesthetic, including storage props and an adjustable Lamp.
- Fully standalone, no library or dependency mods required.
The Bunker
A custom structure where you find containers as loot and the components needed to upgrade them. Containers you can find inside, by rarity:
- Basic Container: the most common find.
- Improved Container: rare.
- Coveted Container: very rare.
- Warrior's Container: very rare, a special standalone find.
Containers and capacity
| Container | Grid | Slots |
|---|---|---|
| Basic Container | 2x2 | 4 |
| Improved Container | 3x2 | 6 |
| Advanced Container | 4x2 | 8 |
| Coveted Container | 3x3 | 9 |
| Warrior's Container | 5x2 | 10 |
| Final Container | 3x4 | 12 |
Upgrade path
Progression follows a clear chain, and each step gives you more secure space than the last:
- Find a Basic Container (4 slots) inside the Bunker.
- Upgrade it into an Improved Container (6 slots) at the Pouch Table. This adds 2 slots over the base.
- Upgrade it into an Advanced Container (8 slots) through a quest.
- Upgrade it into a Coveted Container (9 slots) through a quest.
- Upgrade it into a Final Container (12 slots) through a quest.
The Pouch Table handles the first upgrade, and the quest system carries you through the rest. The Warrior's Container (10 slots) sits outside this chain as a rare Bunker find for the lucky.
Getting started
- Explore to find the Bunker.
- Grab a Basic Container and the upgrade components inside.
- Craft your first upgrade at the Pouch Table, then follow the quest line to the top tier.
Compatibility
