About this project

What does Create: Sulfuric Resonance add?

Create: Sulfuric Resonance

Create: Sulfuric Resonance is an independently developed NeoForge addon for the Create mod. It expands Create-style automation with combustion-powered machinery, temperature-based kinetic generation, sulfur chemistry, sulfuric acid processing, rubber production, specialized materials, factory tools, and industrial building blocks.

Version 0.2.6 is stable.

The mod is not a fork of Create. It is a separate addon that requires Create to be installed.

Requirements

  • Minecraft 1.21.1
  • NeoForge 21.1.247
  • Create 6.0.10 or newer
  • Java 21
  • JEI 19.39.0.372 or newer — optional and client-side

What the Mod Adds

Molten Rotor Furnace

The Molten Rotor Furnace converts fuel and heat into rotational power.

Unlike a standard furnace, its output changes according to its temperature. As it heats up, it produces higher rotational speed and greater stress capacity for connected Create machinery.

The furnace supports:

  • multiple temperature and heat tiers;
  • temperature-based RPM and stress output;
  • manual fuel insertion;
  • hoppers, chutes, funnels, pipes, and compatible item handlers;
  • Create Mechanical Arm fuel insertion;
  • visible inserted fuel;
  • fuel queues;
  • Engineer's Goggles diagnostics;
  • rain-sensitive heating and cooling;
  • custom animations, particles, sounds, and Ponder guidance.

Different fuels produce different heat behaviour, burn duration, and furnace performance.

Combustion Mixing

Create: Sulfuric Resonance adds Combustion Mixing, a specialized processing system based around Create's Mechanical Mixer and high-temperature machinery.

Combustion recipes can require different Molten Rotor Furnace heat levels, including temperatures beyond ordinary Create heating.

These recipes are used for sulfur chemistry, advanced materials, catalysts, rubber components, and other industrial processes.

Sulfur and Sulfuric Acid Processing

The mod adds a full sulfur-processing branch, including:

  • Sulfur;
  • Sulfur Blocks;
  • Sulfuric Acid;
  • Sulfuric Acid Buckets;
  • Sulfur-processing recipes;
  • fluid filling and emptying;
  • hazardous fluid interactions;
  • compatibility with commonly tagged sulfur materials from other mods.

Sulfuric Acid can damage living entities, produce corrosive effects, react with water, and transform lava depending on whether the lava is a source or flowing block.

Supported common tags allow compatible processed sulfur from other mods to be used without requiring a separate recipe for every individual sulfur item.

Rubber Engineering

The mod includes a developing rubber-production chain with materials and components such as:

  • Latex Clumps;
  • Lye;
  • Unrefined Rubber;
  • Vulcanized Rubber;
  • Molded Rubber Gaskets;
  • Rubber Padding;
  • Obsidian Fibers;
  • impeller components.

Rubber Padding reduces fall damage and causes entities and dropped items to bounce before gradually settling.

Perforated Spritzer

The Perforated Spritzer stores and disperses fluids downward.

It can be incorporated into Create factories, crop systems, fluid-processing setups, and mob automation.

Its behaviour changes depending on the contained fluid:

  • water can hydrate crops and extinguish burning entities;
  • lava can ignite entities;
  • Sulfuric Acid can damage affected mobs and apply corrosive effects.

Pyroclast Bombs

Pyroclast Bombs are explosive projectiles that can be:

  • thrown by hand;
  • fired from Create's Potato Cannon.

Hand-thrown and Potato Cannon launches use separate balancing while sharing the same projectile and explosion behaviour.

Ashen Resonance Update

Version 0.0.2.6-beta — Ashen Resonance expands the mod with ash-derived materials, industrial construction blocks, Create-compatible tools, heat-responsive lighting, custom sounds, and a rebuilt advancement tree.

Ash Materials and Building Blocks

The update adds:

  • Ash Brick;
  • Ash Ceramic;
  • Ash Brick Blocks;
  • Ash Brick Stairs;
  • Ash Brick Slabs;
  • Ash Brick Walls;
  • axis-oriented Ash Brick Pillars;
  • Ceramic Crucibles;
  • Ashesil Glass;
  • Ashesil Panes.

These materials are used for industrial construction, decoration, crafting, and future heat-resistant processing systems.

Living Ember Lamp

The Living Ember Lamp is a functional factory light that links to a Molten Rotor Furnace.

Its light output changes according to the linked furnace's heat state, allowing it to act as both lighting and a visual machinery-status indicator.

The lamp stores its selected furnace connection, displays linked coordinates in its tooltip, and stops responding when the original linked furnace is removed.

Cinder Fuel Briquette

The Cinder Fuel Briquette is made from Reinforced Cinder Compound and Charcoal.

It:

  • burns longer than ordinary Charcoal;
  • can be inserted manually;
  • supports automated insertion;
  • works with Create Mechanical Arms;
  • uses the same supported furnace-transfer systems as other compatible fuels.

Cinder Sandpaper

Cinder Sandpaper is a Create-compatible polishing tool made from Reinforced Cinder Compound and Paper.

It performs Create sandpaper polishing and has twice the durability of Red Sandpaper.

Advancements and Ponder

The mod includes an advancement tree that guides players through:

  • sulfur acquisition;
  • Blaze material processing;
  • Molten Rotor Furnace construction;
  • combustion chemistry;
  • cross-mod sulfur compatibility;
  • Pyroclast equipment;
  • ash-derived materials;
  • Living Ember Lamp progression.

Ponder scenes explain major machines and systems, including:

  • Molten Rotor Furnace operation;
  • temperature, RPM, and stress output;
  • furnace cooldown;
  • Perforated Spritzer operation;
  • mob automation;
  • compatible sulfur inputs;
  • Living Ember Lamp linking and heat-responsive behaviour.

Localization

Current language support includes:

  • American English;
  • British English;
  • Spanish;
  • French;
  • German.

Installation

  1. Install NeoForge for Minecraft 1.21.1.
