About this project
What does PixelView2 add?
PixelView2 is a client-side library mod that lets other mods display packaged web interfaces in native WebView2 child windows attached to Minecraft.
Mod authors can build rich, responsive GUIs with React, Vue, Svelte, or plain HTML, CSS, and JavaScript while communicating with Java through a versioned and bounded message bridge.
The dashboards shown below are included demonstrations. Their telemetry and world-state values are sample data used to showcase the API.

Built for local mod interfaces
PixelView2 loads manifest-backed assets packaged inside the mod. Each application receives an isolated local origin and opens using internal routes rather than public URLs.
The included dashboard demonstrates responsive layouts, charts, tabs, theme changes, and structured Java-to-web communication.

Features include:
- Framework-neutral frontend support
- Packaged local HTML, CSS, JavaScript, fonts, and images
- React, Vite, and Chart.js example application
- Versioned Java ↔ web message bridge
- Allowlisted messages with size limits, timeouts, cancellation, and backpressure
- Always-loaded, predictive-preload, and on-demand surface lifecycles
- Paint-ready reveal to avoid displaying unfinished interfaces
- Runtime, memory, configuration, and diagnostic tools

PixelView2 is client-only and is not required on dedicated servers.
