About this project
What does Simple OneBlock add?
🌌 Simple OneBlock 1.1.3 – The Eternity Update
The biggest update in Simple OneBlock's history has arrived.
The Eternity Update completely reimagines the default OneBlock experience with a brand-new progression system, endless replayability, configurable boss encounters, and major multiplayer improvements.
Whether you're playing vanilla, creating a custom modpack, or running a multiplayer server, Simple OneBlock now offers a complete OneBlock experience right out of the box.
🌍 A Completely New Adventure
The default configuration has been rebuilt from the ground up.
Instead of a short progression, players now journey through 39 unique phases across 9 major biome tiers, beginning in the peaceful Verdant biome and ending in the dangerous Eternity dimension. With over 9,000 blocks required to complete a full run, every phase introduces new resources, mobs, challenges, and increasingly difficult boss encounters.
Every biome finale now feels like a true milestone rather than simply another transition.
♾️ Endless Progression with New Game+
Your adventure no longer ends after the final phase.
Once Eternity has been completed, the island seamlessly loops back to the beginning using the brand-new New Game+ system.
Each completed loop permanently increases the difficulty by boosting the health and attack damage of all standard and boss mobs by 15% per cycle, allowing experienced players to continue pushing their worlds further than ever before.
There is no true end—only how far you're willing to survive.
👑 More Dangerous Boss Encounters
Boss raids have received a massive overhaul.
New custom encounters include mounted enemies, giant slime battles, Bogged riders armed with poison, and an intense multi-boss finale designed to test even fully geared players.
Behind the scenes, the raid system now supports full SNBT-based entity definitions, allowing server owners and modpack creators to build complex mounted bosses and custom encounters directly from the configuration file without modifying any Java code.
⚔️ No More Playing It Safe
Boss rewards have been redesigned to create more exciting fights.
Instead of appearing safely inside a chest after victory, rewards now explode into the world as magnetized item drops.
Players must collect their loot while surviving the aftermath of battle, making every boss victory feel fast-paced and rewarding instead of completely risk-free.
🌐 Better Multiplayer Support
Simple OneBlock is now far more reliable for multiplayer servers.
A major persistence issue that could assign returning players new islands on local or offline servers has been resolved. Island ownership and player progression are now stored using Minecraft's robust DataFixer save system, ensuring worlds remain consistent across server restarts.
⚙️ Improved Configuration
Customization has become easier than ever.
Deleting or modifying the configuration file will now automatically regenerate the complete 39-phase default template, making experimentation simple while ensuring a working configuration is always available.
Whether you want to tweak a few settings or build an entirely custom OneBlock adventure, getting started is now effortless.
Version 1.1.3 Highlights
- 🌌 Brand-new 39-phase default progression
- ♾️ Infinite New Game+ system with scaling enemy difficulty
- 👑 New custom boss encounters and mounted raids
- 🛠️ Fully configurable SNBT boss spawning
- ⚔️ Dynamic reward drops that replace chest rewards
- 🌐 Fixed multiplayer island persistence issues
- ⚙️ Automatic regeneration of the complete default configuration
- 📈 More than 9,000 blocks of progression from start to finish
The Eternity Update transforms Simple OneBlock into an endlessly replayable OneBlock experience while remaining fully configurable for vanilla players, modpacks, and multiplayer servers alike.
⚠️ Important
