About this project
What does Corruption Cards add?
# 💀 Corruption Cards
Corruption Cards is a challenging survival mod that transforms your Minecraft experience through a unique card system. Choose your fate wisely, adapt to brutal world modifiers, and survive against overwhelming odds.
# 💡 Inspiration
This mod was heavily inspired by the Corruption Cards concept from Doom, adapting that intense mechanic into the Minecraft survival experience.
## 🌟 Key Features
Permanent Corruptions: These are harsher world modifiers that permanently alter gameplay. Once accepted, they cannot be undone. Choose your path carefully!
Daily Blessings: Temporary favorable effects and gifts refresh each day to help you endure the growing dangers of your world.
Unique Threats: Encounter terrifying mechanics, such as the relentless Immortal Silverfish hunting you down, hidden explosive barrels waiting in caves, and unsettling psychological atmospheric events.
Active Card Review: Press 'C' at any time in-game to check your currently active cards and modifiers.
Multiplayer Support: The mod is fully playable in multiplayer, allowing you and your friends to test your survival skills together.
## 🃏 Current Content
The mod currently features 46 cards in total, consisting of 24 permanent corruptions and 22 daily blessings. While it is a modest start, it provides more than enough variety to dive into the core mechanics, get familiar with the gameplay, and test your survival skills. If the concept resonates with players, I plan to actively expand and develop the mod further in future updates.
### ⚠️ Important Notices & Warnings
Hardcore Warning! Some cards can be extremely powerful and unbalanced. Playing this mod on Hardcore difficulty is NOT recommended—proceed strictly at your own risk.
Custom Mob Scaling Warning: This mod features its own built-in difficulty scaling system for mobs. Combining it with other mob difficulty or overhaul mods is not recommended, as the project is specifically designed and balanced around a vanilla survival experience.Fresh Release: This is a newly released project and may contain minor bugs or balance issues. Feedback is always welcome.
