About this project

What does Crafting Station Multitier add?

Crafting Station Multitier

Expandable crafting stations with grids from 3x3 up to 9x9 that craft straight from the containers around them — and can even run on their own with pipes and storage networks.

Four tiers

  • Crafting Station (3x3) — one crafting table
  • Resonant Crafting Station (5x5) — the previous station surrounded by 8 copper blocks
  • Transcendent Crafting Station (7x7) — the previous station surrounded by 8 amethyst blocks
  • Infinite Crafting Station (9x9) — the previous station surrounded by 8 netherite blocks

There is also a Crafting Station Slab (one station makes two slabs) that works exactly like the full block. The GUI resizes with the grid, every tier has its own accent color, and the panel textures can be reskinned with a resource pack.

Craft from your containers

Chests, barrels and other inventories next to the station show up in a side panel with one tab per side. Scroll through them, click items straight into the grid, and use the search bar to highlight what you are looking for in a big container.

The Linking Node (4 iron ingots and an ender pearl) connects up to 6 containers per station from a distance — 64 blocks by default, configurable, and unlimited with -1 — so a station can draw from a whole base.

Automation

Press the green button next to the clear button and the station works by itself: the grid becomes a saved pattern, its contents move into a 36-slot supply, and a 9-slot output collects the result and any leftovers. Pipes, conduits and AE2 / Refined Storage networks can feed the supply and pull finished items out. If several recipes fit the pattern, the one showing in the result slot when you switched it on is the one that keeps crafting. The crafting interval is configurable.

Recipe viewers and big recipes

  • Full recipe transfer on every grid size: click the + button in JEI (and EMI on 1.21.1) and the recipe fills the 3x3, 5x5, 7x7 or 9x9 grid.
  • Recipes bigger than 3x3 get their own JEI categories (5x5, 7x7, 9x9) instead of being flagged as broken.
  • Any plain minecraft:crafting_shaped recipe up to 9x9 works out of the box, from datapacks or KubeJS — no custom recipe type needed. Handy for modpack authors who want 5x5, 7x7 or 9x9 recipes.

Polymorph

Polymorph and Polymorph+ are supported: when the grid fits more than one recipe, choose which one you get with the arrow button next to the result slot.

Compatibility

Works with Storage Drawers, Functional Storage, Colossal Chests, Sophisticated Storage, Iron Chests (including Upgraded Iron Chests), CraftingTweaks and Avaritia (Extreme Crafting recipes on the Infinite Crafting Station), plus any mod that exposes a standard item handler or a vanilla container. Every integration is optional.

Configuration

  • Show side inventories in the crafting grid
  • Max distance for remotely linked containers
  • Max slots shown per container
  • Automated crafting interval
  • Show items floating above the table

Platform: NeoForge | Supported versions: 26.2, 26.1.2, 26.1.1, 1.21.1
