About this project

What does EasyVip add?

EasyVIP

EasyVIP is a modern and highly configurable server-side VIP management mod for Minecraft servers running NeoForge.

Create temporary or permanent VIP tiers, generate activation keys, deliver configurable activation kits, execute commands, manage reward packages, integrate your WebStore, and keep complete control over every activation.

EasyVIP was designed for server owners who need a reliable VIP system without depending on RCON or manually executing commands after every purchase.

Main Features

Configurable VIP Tiers

Create as many VIP tiers as your server needs.

Each VIP can have its own:

  • Display name
  • Color
  • Priority
  • Default duration
  • Activation mode
  • Stacking behavior
  • Activation commands
  • Expiration commands
  • Activation messages
  • Expiration messages
  • Activation item kit

VIPs can be temporary or permanent, and players may have multiple VIP tiers simultaneously.

Depending on your configuration, EasyVIP can automatically select the highest-priority VIP or allow players to choose their active tier.

Secure Activation Keys

Administrators can generate unique keys for VIPs and reward packages.

Keys support:

  • Configurable prefixes and length
  • Custom character sets
  • Limited or unlimited uses
  • Player-bound keys
  • Optional confirmation before activation
  • Command cooldowns
  • Dimension restrictions
  • Administrative inspection and deletion
  • Physical activation items

Example:

/easyvip use EVIP-ABC123

Optional aliases are also available:

/activate <key>
/usekey <key>
/vip <key>

When confirmation is enabled, the player must confirm the activation before the key is consumed:

/easyvip confirm

Physical Key Items

EasyVIP can transform a configured Minecraft item into a physical activation key.

By default, the mod uses a Tripwire Hook, but the item can be changed in the configuration.

Physical keys use a protected EasyVIP marker and the key code stored inside the item's custom data, preventing ordinary renamed items from being accepted as valid keys.

Administrators can give a physical key using:

/easyvip admin giveitemkey <player> <code>

Activation Kits

Every VIP tier can have its own activation kit.

Kits support:

  • Vanilla items
  • Modded items
  • Custom quantities
  • Enchantments
  • Percentage-based reward chances
  • Complex items stored through SNBT
  • Rare-item global announcements

Example:

[[items]]
item = "minecraft:diamond"
amount = 16

[[items]]
item = "minecraft:diamond_pickaxe"
amount = 1
chance = 100

[items.enchants]
efficiency = 10
fortune = 5
unbreaking = 10

[[items]]
item = "minecraft:elytra"
amount = 1
chance = 25

You can also build a VIP activation kit directly from your in-game inventory:

/easyvip savevipactivation <tier>

EasyVIP will automatically generate the corresponding configuration file.

Reward Packages and Variants

In addition to VIP tiers, EasyVIP supports configurable reward packages.

Packages can contain:

  • Items
  • Server commands
  • Randomized rewards
  • Multiple selectable variants
  • Player-specific pending choices
  • Configurable selection expiration

Players can select a pending package variant using:

/easyvip variant choose <package> <variant>

Administrators can also deliver packages directly:

/easyvip admin givepackage <player> <package_id>

Random Reward Pools

Create reusable random pools for commands, messages, Pokémon, items, crates, ranks, or any other server reward.

Pools support simple and weighted values.

Example:

[pools.shiny_pokemon]
values = [
    "Pikachu",
    "Bulbasaur",
    "Charmander",
    "Squirtle"
]

[pools.rare_pokemon]

[[pools.rare_pokemon.weighted]]
value = "Lucario"
weight = 50

[[pools.rare_pokemon.weighted]]
value = "Garchomp"
weight = 25

Pools can be used inside activation commands:

[vips.masterball.commands]
activate = [
    "$pokemon = %random(shiny_pokemon)%",
    "givepokemon %player% $pokemon shiny",
    "broadcast %player% received a shiny $pokemon!"
]

This allows EasyVIP to integrate with Cobblemon commands, economy mods, crate systems, permissions, rank systems, and other server-side tools.

LuckPerms and FTB Ranks Integration

EasyVIP provides optional compatibility with:

  • LuckPerms
  • FTB Ranks

Integration is performed through configurable and safely validated server commands.

This makes it possible to:

  • Add permission groups when a VIP is activated
  • Remove groups when a VIP expires
  • Assign ranks
  • Execute commands from other server-side mods
  • Create completely customized activation workflows

Neither LuckPerms nor FTB Ranks is required to use EasyVIP.

WebStore Integration

EasyVIP includes support for external WebStore fulfillment through secure HTTPS polling.

The mod can:

  • Retrieve pending purchases
  • Claim purchases safely
  • Deliver the corresponding VIP key
  • Confirm successful delivery
  • Retry temporary failures
  • Support multiple Minecraft servers
  • Synchronize player identity and presence
  • Use server-specific identifiers and key prefixes

The fulfillment flow does not require RCON and does not expose an HTTP listener inside the Minecraft server.

This makes EasyVIP suitable for integration with custom websites and Rails-based WebStores.

Automatic Expiration

EasyVIP periodically checks active VIPs and automatically processes expired subscriptions.

Expiration is checked:

  • At server startup
  • At player login
  • Through the automatic scheduler
  • After configuration reloads

When a VIP expires, EasyVIP can:

  • Remove the active tier
  • Select another available tier
  • Execute expiration commands
  • Remove permission groups
  • Display configurable messages
  • Register the operation in the audit log

Administrative Audit Log

Important administrative operations are recorded in the EasyVIP audit system.

Administrators can review the audit history using:

/easyvip admin audit

Pages can also be selected:

/easyvip admin audit <page>

The audit system helps server owners investigate key generation, VIP changes, package delivery, and other administrative actions.

Safe Persistence

EasyVIP stores its core data using JSON files with:

  • Atomic writes
  • Automatic backups
  • Recovery-oriented persistence
  • Separate storage for keys, VIPs, and pending selections

The WebStore fulfillment system can also use local SQL storage for reliable processing and delivery control.

Configuration and Localization

EasyVIP uses readable TOML configuration files stored in:

config/easyvip/

Main files include:

common.toml
messages.toml
tiers.toml
pools.toml
activation_items/

The mod currently includes:

  • English (en-us)
  • Brazilian Portuguese (pt-br)

Messages support Minecraft color codes and placeholders using either format:

{player}
%player%

Configurations can be reloaded without restarting the server:

/easyvip reload

You can also validate configuration files before using them:

/easyvip config validate
