About this project
What does Farmer NPC add?
✨ Features
- Wandering & Following: Unhired farmers spawn naturally and wander near players. Right-clicking an unhired farmer while holding a sword declines their hiring offer and puts them into follow mode (staying nearby, wandering around you, and looking at you while prompting to be hired).
- Hiring & Firing System:
- Hire a farmer using 16 Emeralds for your active session.
- Terminating a contract (farmer death) despawns the farmer with custom sound and particle effects.
- Automated Farming Cycle: Hired farmers automatically harvest mature crops, replant appropriate seeds, and use bone meal to accelerate crop growth.
- Crop Specificity: Easily assign specific crops (wheat, carrots, potatoes, beetroots, melons, pumpkins, sugar cane, nether wart, sweet berries) by right-clicking a hired farmer with any valid farming item or seed.
- Container Storage: Farmers automatically search for nearby barrels to offload excess harvested crops (keeps a maximum stack of 32 for planting).
