About this project

What does Drops Backport add?

Drops Backport

Drops Backport currently backports the entirety of Chaos Cubed (26.2), alongside 26.3, to 26.1.2 for both Fabric and NeoForge.

This includes absolutely everything you'd expect - Sulfur Caves, Sulfur Cube, Dappled Forest, Abandoned Camps, all-new-and-improved maps, new blocks, music and so much more, with 1:1 feature and content parity.

This is not a vague recreation of new vanilla drops; all behaviour is made to be exactly the same, so you get to enjoy the latest vanilla game drops on a more modding-popular release.

Chaos Cubed

Features

  • Sulfur Caves
  • Sulfur Cube & Bucket
  • Sulfur blocks
  • Cinnabar blocks
  • Geysers
  • Bounce music disc
  • new background music
  • and everything else!

All Sulfur Cube archetypes are of course included. If you'd like to be able to configure the new music, you can also check out Music and Melody.

The fun new 26.2 attributes were also backported, so enjoy going crazy with either commands or addon mod development.

26.3

Features

  • Dappled Forest
  • Abandoned Campsites
  • Wool Stairs & Slabs
  • Concrete Stairs & Slabs
  • overhauled maps
  • Shelf Mushroom
  • Straw Beds
  • Cushions
  • and everything else!

Map retextures feature a bonus compatability feature that automatically creates fitting textures for other mods' maps using their decorations, for stylistic consistency with 26.3 maps.

Yeah, 26.3 isn't out quite yet. But it's feature-complete, and thus included in this backport (with final additions - eg advancements - to come whenver vanilla snapshots add them).
