About this project

What does Solo Quests add?

Solo Quests

Stores FTB Quests task progress separately for each player while providing synchronization within teams.

Features

  • Task progress is tracked independently for each player instead of being shared by the team, so each member's progress remains separate.

  • A sync button in the task details panel lets you sync completed task progress from your teammates to yourself.

  • The "Sync All Tasks" button in the task book sidebar syncs progress for all of your incomplete tasks at once.

  • /soloquests administration commands: migrate manually migrates old team progress, and status displays the migration status.

  • The teamSyncEnabled server configuration option acts as a master switch and also controls whether the client-side sync buttons are shown.

Configuration

  • Configuration file: world/serverconfig/ftb_solo_quests-server.toml

  • teamSyncEnabled (default: true): When set to false, players cannot sync task progress within their team.

Commands

  • /soloquests migrate: Manually migrates progress from an existing world (requires permission level 2).

  • /soloquests status: Displays the world's migration status.

Existing World Migration

  • When installing this mod in an existing world, back up the ftbquests folder inside the world folder first.

Installation

  • When the mod is installed only on the server, clients cannot use the task synchronization features.
