About this project
What does Weird Birds add?
adds five """birds""" to your world.
-the Crake is found in roofed forests and old growth taigas at night. it turns invisible if threatened.
-the Bowlder inhabits mountains and other biomes with rugged terrain. they can be picked up and thrown at enemies as a weapon. it deals as much damage as an arrow, but can be picked back up and re-thrown. bowlders hunt rabbits and chickens by hurling themselves at them.
-the Windstork is found in both stony peaks and windswept savannahs. they are neutral, and will fight off attackers as a group. if they are killed in hard mode, they drop the windsock, an item that grants hastewhen consumed.
-the Paper Crane dwells in bamboo jungles and cherry groves. they drop a monkey statue when killed in hard mode, which completely refills your hunger bar and grants luck when used.
-the Void Pootoo inhabits the vast, empty void below the end. their drop, eldritch drumsticks, can be sold to the village cartographer for a whole 30 emeralds. be wary, however, as they can swallow you whole, resulting in an instakill most of the time.
-the legendary pirate, Jack Sparrow, spawns rarely in all oceans. if defeated in a duel, he drops a gold block. (attack rework planned; he was a nightmare to code for some reason)
-the chickpea is a bird-plant hybrid thing found hidden among the new pea plants. they can be crafted with some white dye and pumpkins into Chimkpins, a block that lays eggs (more humane than traditional egg farms!)
-the Giant Crake is a rare, shyer relative to the Crake that hides in dark forests. it almost never is spotted
