About this project
What does DotStats add?
DotStats
DotStats is a customizable Minecraft RPG stat and character progression mod that adds player stats, XP-based leveling, and stat points to help you build your character your way.
DotStats was created because I wanted a simple RPG stat system where leveling up actually makes your character stronger — without forcing stats to act as equipment requirements or locking you into a specific class or playstyle.
Whether you're creating an RPG modpack, an adventure server, or simply want more character progression in your Minecraft world, DotStats (will be) designed to be easy to customize and integrate with other systems.
⭐ Features
6 RPG stats: Strength, Dexterity, Vitality, Intelligence, Wisdom, and Luck
Custom player XP system
Level-based stat points
Progressive XP requirements for higher levels
Entity-based XP rewards based on the entity's maximum health
Support for custom XP rewards for major bosses

📈 Experience & Leveling
Players gain their own experience through gameplay.
By default, normal entities provide XP based on their maximum health, while major bosses can have their own manually defined XP rewards.
The amount of XP required for each level progressively increases, making higher levels increasingly difficult to obtain.
Starting XP requirement: 100XP
Maximum level: No maximum level
🔧 Designed for Modpacks
DotStats is intended to be a foundation that other RPG systems can build upon in the futur.
the idea is to be used alongside systems such as:
Races
Classes
Jobs
Skill trees
Talents
Abilities
Magic
Custom gear
Bosses
Dimensions
Custom progression systems
More integration features and API functionality are planned so that mod developers and modpack creators can use DotStats as a central character progression system.
🛠️ Customization
DotStats is designed with customization in mind. Values such as stat progression, XP requirements, caps, and other gameplay settings will be adjusted as the mod develops.
This allows modpack creators to balance DotStats around their own progression system rather than having to follow a fixed RPG design.
