About this project
What does Seven Headed Dragon add?
Seven Headed Dragon
Seven Headed Dragon is an extreme-difficulty boss expansion mod for Minecraft that introduces four ferocious new bosses, unique combat mechanics, and incredibly powerful loot.
📖 Backstory
Long ago, God created the Overworld, the Nether, and the End. However, God's eternal enemy—the "Abnormal Red Dragon"—bestowed dark knowledge and Command Blocks upon humanity, plunging the world into chaos. The Dragon and its human followers waged war against God, but divine power struck down 90% of humanity into the Void.
"Those who defied the Almighty God, those deceived by the Dragon, and those who worshipped the Dragon shall all be cast into the Void." The first crafters, Steve and Alex, vanished without a trace, and the wicked Dragon still lurks somewhere in the shadows.
O Hero, rise up and slay the wicked Dragon and its followers!
⚔️ Unique Combat System: "Turn-Based Battles"
All bosses added by this mod utilize a unique Turn-Based Combat System, heavily inspired by bullet-hell games (such as Undertale).
- Boss Turn (60 Seconds): The boss becomes completely invincible and unleashes relentless physical attacks or magical bullet-hell barrages. You must focus entirely on dodging; any attacks against the boss during this phase will deal 0 damage.
- Player Turn (5 Seconds): A massive "YOUR TURN" title will appear on the center of your screen. For these 5 seconds only, the boss freezes in place and becomes completely defenseless, allowing you to strike back!
🐉 The Bosses
1. Potion Master
- Overview: A wicked witch and master of potions. 1000 HP, 0 Armor.
- Behavior: She deals no direct physical damage. Instead, she kites the player while unleashing geometric bullet-hell patterns from magic circles, utilizing 14 custom, deadly potions.
- Loot: Enchanted Golden Apples, Nether Wart, Diamond Blocks, a full set of her custom splash potions, and a massive amount of experience (10,000 EXP).
2. Fang King
- Spawn Condition: Spawns automatically upon claiming victory in a vanilla Village Raid.
- Overview: A regal Evoker-type boss. 1000 HP, 30 Armor.
- Behavior: Uses intense Evoker Fang barrages and summons Vexes to corner players. During his Boss Turn, he is completely invulnerable and blocks all attacks with a shield-like clang.
- Loot: Grants "Hero of the Village" (Level 10) for 100 minutes to all players who participated in the fight! Drops Emerald Blocks x64, Totems of Undying x10, and Enchanted Golden Apples x20 (scales with Looting).
3. Centipede (Black Dragon Eater)
- Spawn Condition: Spawns when a player kills 10 Spiders while afflicted with the "Bad Omen" effect.
- Overview: A colossal 21-segment centipede. 500 HP, 30 Armor. Vulnerable to the Bane of Arthropods enchantment.
- Behavior:
- Circling Trample: Rapidly circles the player; coming into contact with its body deals 5 damage.
- Bite: A powerful lunge dealing 20 damage.
- Magic Attack: Summons a rain of splash potions from the sky.
- Loot: Diamond Blocks x64, Enchanted Golden Apples x20, and fixed drops of "Dragon-Slaying Poison" and "Poison V" splash potions.
4. Apocalypse Seven Headed Red Dragon
- Overview: The ultimate boss of this mod, and the eternal enemy of God. Boasts an overwhelming 1000 HP, 3000 Armor, 300 Armor Toughness, and 100% Knockback Resistance.
- Behavior: The sky turns blood red during the fight. During its 60-second Boss Turn, it chains devastating attacks relentlessly with no gaps:
- Seven Sins Bite: A 7-hit combo dealing 20 damage per bite, with each head inflicting a unique "Deadly Sin" debuff.
- Claw & Charge: After a preliminary wind-up of three claw swipes (dealing 20 damage if you are too close), it rushes forward at extreme speed. A direct hit deals 20 damage and launches the player high into the air.
- Tail Swipe: A sweeping strike that deals 20 damage with violent horizontal knockback.
- Goat & Squid Missiles: Machine-gun goat projectiles (Power 4 explosions) and homing squid projectiles (Power 3 explosions).
- Longinus Spear: A cross-shaped explosion (Power 5) that inflicts the fatal "God Slaying" debuff.
- Shocker Breaker: Summons 35 consecutive rainbow lightning bolts, each dealing 20 damage.
- Clone Dive: A devastating dive-bomb attack causing a massive Power 10 shockwave (without destroying terrain).
- Also summons Power 10 timed-bomb Creepers and Debilitation Martyrs.
- Defeat: Upon death, a brilliant pillar of light restores the red sky back to normal, and all engaged players are granted the "Saved the World" advancement.
- Loot: 100,000 EXP, Nether Stars x64, Netherite Blocks x128, and the ultimate endgame gear: the Apocalypse Elytra!
🧪 Custom Status Effects
Through boss attacks and potions, you will be subjected to 14 brand-new debuffs (21 if counting all Seven Deadly Sins).
- Percent Poison: Deals damage equal to 5% of your Max HP every second. Unlike vanilla poison, this can and will kill you.
- Undead Curse: Not only do you burn in sunlight like a zombie, but your entity type is completely overwritten to UNDEAD. You take damage from healing potions, heal from harming potions, and take extra damage from the Smite enchantment.
- Scorch: Multiplies all incoming fire damage by 5. Can be mitigated by Fire Resistance.
- Asphyxiation: Your air supply depletes even on dry land. When it runs out, you take 2 drowning damage per second. Water Breathing prevents this.
- Void Damage: Completely ignores all armor and enchantments, dealing 4 damage (scales with amplifier) every 5 seconds.
- God Slaying: Inflicted by the Longinus Spear. Ignores all defense and max-health buffs, stripping away 10% of your Max HP every second. Extremely fatal.
- Dragon-Slaying Poison: Deals 10 magic damage per second, but stops at 1 HP (cannot kill you directly).
- Magma: Wherever you are, you take 4 damage (scales with amplifier) every 0.5 seconds as if you were standing in lava.
- Water Vulnerability: Standing in the rain deals 5 damage (scales with amplifier) per second.
- Insectify: Completely overwrites your entity type to ARTHROPOD. You will take massive bonus damage from the Bane of Arthropods enchantment.
- Insecticide: Only affects you if you have the "Insectify" effect (or are naturally an arthropod). Deals 10 damage (scales with amplifier) per second.
- Lightning Mark: Periodically strikes you with lightning bolts from above.
- Explosion: Periodically detonates an explosion at your feet.
- Firework Mark: Periodically detonates fireworks on you to deal damage.
- Poison Amplify: Multiplies any vanilla Poison damage you take by 5.
- Fall Amplify: Drastically increases any fall damage you take.
- Control Reversal: Completely inverts your WASD movement controls.
- The Seven Deadly Sins: Inflicted by the Red Dragon's bites. Pride, Wrath, Envy, Sloth, Greed, Gluttony, and Lust. Each sin is an independent debuff that applies a -50% Attack Damage and -50% Movement Speed penalty. Taking all seven bites will render you practically immobile and powerless.
💎 Custom Items & Gear
- Energy Drink
- Drinking this grants 10 full minutes of six Level IV buffs simultaneously: Strength IV, Haste IV, Jump Boost IV, Speed IV, Resistance IV, and Regeneration IV.

- The ultimate reward for slaying the Red Dragon.
