Randomized Hotbar

Randomized Hotbar is a simple but chaotic Minecraft challenge mod that completely changes the way you play Survival.

Every 2 minutes, your hotbar is randomly rerolled with different items. You never know what you'll get next — your next set of tools, blocks, food, or completely unexpected items could be just seconds away.

Features 🎲 Randomized Hotbar — All 9 hotbar slots are rerolled every 2 minutes. ⏱️ Live Timer — See the time until the next reroll and your total challenge time directly in the action bar. 🔒 Locked Inventory — Your main inventory is locked while the challenge is active. 💾 Persistent Progress — Challenge state and timers are saved when the server stops. 👥 Multiplayer Support — Designed to work with multiple players on the same server. ⚙️ Simple Commands — Easily control the challenge with three commands. 🚫 Survival-Focused Item Pool — Technical and unusable items are excluded from the random pool. 🔄 Automatic Rerolls — Once the timer reaches zero, everyone's hotbar is rerolled automatically. Commands

/start Starts or resets the challenge and immediately rerolls the hotbar.

/stop Pauses the challenge and its timer.

/end Ends the challenge, resets the timer, and unlocks the inventory.

How It Works

Once the challenge starts, every player receives a completely random set of items in their hotbar.

You have 2 minutes to make the most of your current items.

When the timer reaches zero, the hotbar is rerolled.

Your inventory outside the hotbar is locked during the challenge, meaning you have to survive using whatever the randomizer gives you.

No planning. No guaranteed tools. Just chaos.

Multiplayer

Randomized Hotbar is made with multiplayer in mind. Each player receives their own randomized hotbar, while the challenge timer is shared across the server.
