About this project

What does Simple Tarkov add?

# SimpleTarkov

**SimpleTarkov** is a dedicated server-side minigame controller designed to recreate the hardcore, competitive gameplay of Escape From Tarkov inside **Minecraft Forge 1.20.1**.

This mod coordinates the entire gameplay loop: from matching and custom loadouts to dynamic border shrinking, tactical stat boosts, and custom airdrop events on a dedicated map.

---

## 📦 Required Mods for the Full Experience
For this minigame to function properly, your server must also have the following mods installed:
* **Superb Warfare** (For modern firearms and tactical gear)
* **Mob Loot Bags Tarkov** (Modified version - for customized loot drops)
* **Mutant Monsters** (For hardcore PvE threats)

---

## 🎮 Gameplay Features & Match Loop

* **Tactical Stats:** Upon entering the match, every player's health is scaled to **40 HP (20 hearts)** and they receive a permanent **Speed II** effect to match the fast-paced, tactical movement of Tarkov.
* **Starting Gear:** Starting the match automatically teleports players into the zone, giving them a basic starter kit and a **Blue Loot Bag** containing a randomized firearm from the weapons mod.
* **Three Lives System:** Players have a limit of **3 lives** for competitive, high-stakes matches. Exhausting all 3 lives results in permanent elimination for that match.
* **Revive Mechanic:** For casual play or small groups, admins can manually revive dead players, resetting their life counter and respawning them at a random location with fresh starter gear.

---

## 💬 Commands (OP Level 3 Required)

* `/tarkov start <4/6/10>` — Starts the match for the specified number of players and teleports them to spawn points. The dynamic zone size adapts automatically:
    *   `4` — Small zone (tight, high-intensity map limit).
    *   `6` — Medium zone.
    * `10` — Large play area (no zone limits).
*   `/tarkov setspawn` — Sets the default lobby/base spawn point for players.
* `/tarkov setcenter` — Sets the map center, which is used to calculate player spawn locations, zone limits, and airdrop coordinate offsets.
* `/tarkov revive <player>` — Resurrects an eliminated player, resets their death counter to 0, teleports them to a random location, and re-equips them with the starter kit.
* `/tarkov airdrop` — Instantly triggers a tactical airdrop event containing rare loot near the map center.
* `/tarkov stop` — Instantly stops the active match and clears the game state.
* ~~`/tarkov resetmap`~~ — **Do not use.** (This command shuts down the server for automated map restoration handled by external batch files).
