About this project
What does Better Quivers+ add?
Better Quivers+
Better Quivers+ is a lightweight Fabric mod that adds wearable quivers for storing and using arrows without filling your normal inventory.
Quivers are equipped in their own dedicated equipment slot and supply ammunition directly to bows and crossbows. Different arrow types can be stored inside the same quiver and selected as needed. Equipped quivers are also displayed on the player's back
Quiver Tiers
Each upgraded quiver provides one additional ammunition slot:
- Quiver — 3 arrow slots
- Gold Quiver — 4 arrow slots
- Diamond Quiver — 5 arrow slots
- Netherite Quiver — 6 arrow slots
Each slot can hold a full stack of compatible arrows, including normal, spectral, tipped, and supported modded arrows.
Crafting
The base Quiver is made primarily from leather and string, with an Iron Nugget used for its metal fitting.
The Gold Quiver uses the same general recipe, but replaces the Iron Nugget with a Gold Nugget.
The Diamond Quiver uses a Diamond in place of the metal nugget, providing another additional ammunition slot.
The Netherite Quiver is upgraded from a Diamond Quiver at a Smithing Table, just like Netherite armor and tools:
Diamond Quiver + Netherite Upgrade Smithing Template + Netherite Ingot → Netherite Quiver
Better Quivers+ is designed to make archery more convenient while keeping the system simple and close to vanilla Minecraft.
How do you use it?
Simple! After crafting the quiver, hold the quiver in your hand, and right-click to open the inventory slots of the quiver, deposit your selected arrows, then drag it into your dedicated quiver slot, located to the right of your character in the inventory screen! Bam! That's it!
If you have multiple types of arrows in your quiver, simply press B to cycle through the avaliable arrow stacks in the quiver. This keybind can be changed, if you wish, just look into the keybind menu in options.
