About this project
What does Orescape add?
This is orescape, a serverside mod utilizing the Polymer system that utilizes some of mojang's design principles to make obtaining enchantments more enjoyable to get, while keeping the existing old system in tact for players who are used to it.

There are several new ores that are biome specific, corresponding directly to enchantments ingame, meaning you always have a reason to go cave diving or exploring the overworld. You apply these enchantments via an Anvil, and the more gems you put in, the higher the level of the resulting enchantment.
Topaz (deserts) Fire Aspect
Ruby (jungles & plains) Protection
Malachite (lush caves) Effeciency
Mendlite (rare in the end) Mending
Hallow (on Mountains) Silk Touch
Densilite (in Trial Chamber vaults (EXCLUSIVE) ) Density
Sharplite (All biomes) Sharpness
Showcase
Density has been changed around a bit too, just to add more endgame trial chamber content. Mace behavior is unchanged, but if you enchant a pickaxe or axe with density, it mines blocks faster if you are falling, downwards or upwards, and scales with Efficiency and the level of density well. Swords enchanted with density now get their cooldown back faster if falling in the air; great for critical hit combos.
Dripstone, sharplite, and redstone, can be used to craft a Dripstone chipper, which simply chips at the block infront of it. A simple and intuitive vanilla friendly block breaker. It can also be pushed by pistons, so I imagine the redstoners may come up with some interesting builds.
