Quick answer
Which ItemIO: ReForged release should I use?
ItemIO: ReForged itemioreforged-1.0.0-neoforge+1.21.1.jar targets 1.21.1 with NeoForge. The project page does not say whether this file belongs on the client, dedicated server, or both. All 1 required mods have matching files.
Where it goes
Is ItemIO: ReForged required on the client, server, or both?
The project page does not say whether this file belongs on the client, dedicated server, or both.
The source does not explicitly classify this release as client-only or server-only.
What else does ItemIO: ReForged itemioreforged-1.0.0-neoforge+1.21.1.jar need?
itemioreforged-1.0.0-neoforge+1.21.1.jar. Change the file and its required mods may change too.
Install Cloth Config API (Fabric/Forge/NeoForge) first. We found matching files for this game-version and loader setup.
We only count dependency files that match this setup. A file for another loader does not fill the gap.

About this project
What does ItemIO: ReForged add?
ItemIO: ReForged
An unofficial Forge / NeoForge port of ItemIO by GravityCY.
Store and take items from containers without opening their GUI. This port is based on the original and includes some bug fixes and feature improvements. It is not affiliated with GravityCY or the original ItemIO in any way.
Do not report bugs to GravityCY or the original ItemIO. That only creates extra work for them. Use this repository's issues instead.

Supported versions
| Minecraft | Loader |
|---|---|
| 1.18.2 | Forge |
| 1.19.2 | Forge |
| 1.20.1 | Forge |
| 1.21.1 | NeoForge |
- Client-only (not required on the server). See Client-side / multiplayer
- Cloth Config API is required
Client-side / multiplayer
This mod runs entirely on the client. You do not need it on the server.
It should work in most cases, but anti-cheat (and similar) can interfere, and nothing is guaranteed no matter what happens. Singleplayer is strongly recommended, as is joining modded servers.*
* Anti-cheat exists on many servers, but modded servers often prioritize content over that, so a client-only install is likely to work there.
Usage
Default keybind: V (configurable).
| Input | Action |
|---|---|
| Hold V and look at containers | Select targets (multiple allowed; stacks are split across them) |
| Release V (holding an item) | Store into the selected containers |
| Release V (empty hand) | Take items from the selected containers |
| Left Shift on release | After transfer, switch to the next hotbar slot |
| Left Control on release | After storing, restock the same item into the hotbar |
| Escape | Cancel selection (useful in toggle mode) |
Changes from the original
This unofficial port does not match the Fabric original in every behavior or supported environment. Notable additions and improvements:
- Confirm screen when depositing dual-use items (fuel and smeltable, e.g. logs) into furnaces (config, experimental, off by default)
- Exceptional crash-prevention support for Iron Furnaces (details)
- Japanese (
ja_jp) - Forge 1.18.2 / 1.19.2 / 1.20.1 and NeoForge 1.21.1
Iron Furnaces
Iron Furnaces is not required. It is a well-known, widely used mod, so this port includes exceptional crash-prevention compatibility for it.
See Other mod compatibility for anything beyond this.
Other mod compatibility
There is no general integration for other mods. Vanilla-like inventories usually work; special slot layouts (fuel vs smelting input, etc.) are not configured per mod.
A future option is planned: JSON that maps fuel and smelting-input slot IDs. That work is on hold for now, because it could make the project much less stable.
Config
