Verity's Better Death is an add-on for Verity JE on Forge 1.20.1 that introduces a brutal permanent death mechanic, ensuring that if the Verity Demon kills you, your world is permanently locked and you are dead for good, with death features and sounds more accurate. This way, it's more accurate to ThatMob's series players death.

The mod completely transforms the stakes of surviving against the creature. When the hardcore setting is enabled, there are no second chances and no respawns once you die. It features a custom cinematic blackout sequence, chilling silence, and an uncompromising permanent ban system designed to bring true analog horror to your single-player and multiplayer worlds with your friends. However, you are never permanently locked out: you can always toggle the ban off in the configs to regain access to your save-file.
