About this project
What does Backrooms Squared add?
This mod basically adds my own version of the backrooms.
It currently contains 5 levels for now, which are:
- Level 0
- Level 1
- Level 2
- Level Fun =)
- The Afterparty
It also adds a sanity system which, when at 0, will damage and eventually kill you. you can gain back your sanity by being in the light, drinking almond water (which can be found in chests in Level 0) or being in Level 1. It will reduce when you're in most levels of the backrooms, especially in Level Fun =), being in the dark or witnessing a death of a mob, or a player.
To enter the backrooms, you need to noclip of either the Overworld, The Nether or The End, by trapping yourself in a solid wall (suffocating in sand or gravel would work), by jumping (the chances vary by the fall height, only works if Basic No-clipping gamerule is false) and/or by entering a null zone (grass or sand) (again, only works or generates if Basic-No-clipping is set to false).
To enter Level 1 from Level 0, you need to find a grey staircase that ends in a void which leads to Level 1.
To enter Level 2 from Level 1, you need to enter it's hallways, then find a hallway with pipes leading to an black void, enter it to go to Level 2.
To enter Level Fun =), you'll either have to find two metal doors with a RGB void behind it, or by finding a invitation in one of the chests in Level 0 (and yes, chests spawn in Level 0) and then accepting it.
To enter The Afterparty, you'll have to find a pale, yellow hallway ending in a singular metal door in Level Fun =), opening it then going through will lead you to The Afterparty.
Why would you want to leave =(
It also adds three entities, two of which are hostile, Bacteria, which spawns in Level 0, and the partygoer, which spawns in Level Fun =). You can make yourself undetectable from partygoers by wearing a mask, which can be obtained by either killing partygoers or crafting one, at the cost of your sanity. However, it won't fool all of them. There are also balloons in Level Fun =).
Note:
It should work on multiplayer but it's not tested on there.
This mod was made on MCreator.
