About this project

What does Nautilus API add?

🐚 NautilusAPI

Lightweight client-side entity animation library for NeoForge.

✨ Overview

NautilusAPI provides the client-side rendering and animation utilities used by advanced boss/entity mods — model animation blending, procedural leg/chain solvers, and render-layer hooks. It is a port of LionfishAPI by L_Ender (MCL_Ender).

The mod is currently in early development (0.0.0-beta.1) — it builds cleanly but hasn't been verified in a live game session yet.

🎯 Features

🦴 Animation Engine

A self-contained keyframe/procedural animation system for entity models, independent of third-party animation libraries.

🦵 Leg & Chain Solvers

Procedural IK-style solvers for quadruped legs and chained model segments, used for organic creature movement.

🎨 Render Hooks

Client-side render-layer and fluid-render integration points for custom entity/model rendering.
