What does Craftbound add?

Craftbound replaces Minecraft's vanilla recipe book with a restyled book that finds recipes from every installed mod through JEI and turns recipe discovery into progression.

Features

  • Shows crafting, smelting, brewing, modded machines and other recipe categories registered through JEI.
  • Keeps recipes hidden until you discover the items they require.
  • Lets you bookmark recipes you are working towards.
  • Adds the optional Bookbinder's Lens, a craftable recipe-book upgrade that marks items which unlock more recipes.
  • Keeps undiscovered item names hidden in Create's Ponder on Minecraft 1.21.1.
  • Works on servers without Craftbound, with limited recipe placement on newer Minecraft versions.

Before you install

  • Requires NeoForge and the matching version of JEI.
  • Supports Minecraft 1.21.1, 1.21.4, 1.21.5, 1.21.8, 1.21.10, 1.21.11 and 26.1.2.
  • Create 6.x is optional on Minecraft 1.21.1. Create has no releases for the other supported versions, so those downloads omit its recipe categories and Ponder integration.
  • Installing Craftbound on the server enables complete recipe placement and server-authoritative progression, but is not required.
