About this project

What does Chokehold add?

Chokehold adds a skill-based PvP restraint minigame. Sneak + right-click another player empty-handed to start a duel.

Features:

  • Timing Wheel Duel — Both players race to hit scoring zones on a rotating wheel. It speeds up each round, so later rounds get tougher.
  • Faint & Escape — Lose enough rounds and you faint. Restrained players can fight back and escape by winning a streak of rounds in a row — it's never a guaranteed loss.
  • Gasp QTE — While restrained, react to a "Press SPACE" prompt to gain air, adding a second skill check to survive the hold.
  • Chat/Voice Lockout — Restrained players lose text chat, and voice chat too if Simple Voice Chat is installed, reinforcing the restrained state.
  • Manual Release — Server config lets the attacker release their opponent early by sneaking.
  • Fully Configurable — Wheel speed, zone sizes, faint duration, escape difficulty, and more can all be tuned server-side.
