About this project

What does On Join Commands add?

On Join Commands is a lightweight Fabric client-side mod that automatically executes configured commands whenever you join a Minecraft world or server.

Brief overview:

With this mod you can apply commands on world or server join without manually typing them.

For example:

  • Server commands: if you want for a weather to be always clear when you join, you can type server:/weather clear in .cfg file. If you write server:/say Hello, then you will send message Hello in chat everytime you enter a world/server;
  • Client commands: you can automatically execute Fabric client-side commands registered by other mods. How it works: this Fabric mod: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/skin-changer uses /skinc client-side commands to change a player's skin, but you have to reapply them every time you open Minecraft. If you write client:/skinc file *your local file path* in On Join Command's config file, then you will always load your skin from a local directory automatically.

Requirements:

  • Minecraft 26.2
  • Fabric Loader 0.19.3+
  • Fabric API 0.157.0+

How to install:

  1. Install Fabric Loader: https://fabricmc.net/use/installer/
  2. Install Fabric API: https://modrinth.com/mod/fabric-api
  3. Put the mod .jar into your mods folder
  4. Launch Minecraft once for the config file to be created, then close the game

How to use:

  1. Navigate to .minecraft/config and open on-join-commands.cfg
  2. You will see detailed instructions inside that config file
  3. After writing your commands, launch Minecraft again and join a world or server (where you have the required permissions) and see if they are being applied.
