About this project

What does Structure Memory add?

This mod just writes down where stuff is. you walk into a village, coords saved. you fall into a mineshaft, saved. no commands, no map to open, you just play and the list fills up on its own.

example2

example2

it only saves places you actually went to. flying over a mineshaft doesnt count. standing at the bottom of an end city does, you dont have to climb the tower.

press N to save your own spot (base, portal, whatever). M opens the list, there you can search, filter by dimension, pin something, copy the coords, or delete it if you dont care anymore. everything also shows up floating in the world with its name and distance, so you can just look around instead of reading numbers.

few things:

  • client side only, dont put it on the server, it doesnt need to be there
  • it never writes to chat, theres a small popup instead
  • saves are per world not per ip, so if your server changes address your stuff is still there
  • turkish and english

older versions know fewer structures because those structures just dont exist yet. 1.7.10 gets villages, desert temples, jungle temples, witch huts, strongholds, mineshafts, nether fortresses. 1.12.2 adds monuments, mansions, igloos, fossils, end cities. 1.16.5 adds outposts, ruined portals, bastions. 1.20.1 adds ancient cities, trail ruins, geodes. 1.21.1 and up also get trial chambers. your own markers work everywhere.
