About this project

What does Coupon Codes add?

Coupon Codes

Coupon Codes is centered around collectible discount coupons that provide useful bonuses throughout normal Minecraft survival gameplay.

Find, trade, roll, store, activate, and spend coupons to save resources, reduce costs, protect equipment, extend useful effects, and make everyday interactions more rewarding.

Compatibility

JEI, REI, and Curios are optional integrations. JEI or REI can provide additional in-game information pages, while Curios allows Coupon Pouches to work from an equipped belt slot.

Features

Collectible Coupon Effects

Coupon Codes includes twenty different coupon effects covering equipment, magic, trading, consumables, mobility, and combat.

Coupons interact directly with normal Minecraft mechanics such as enchanting, anvil repairs, Villager trading, bow shots, food, potions, Mending, Totems of Undying, smithing, Bone Meal, fishing, Firework Rockets, Ender Pearls, Elytra flight, fall damage, and death drops.

Single-Use, Reusable, and Timed Coupons

Every coupon effect is available in three different variants for different situations and playstyles.

Single-Use Coupons provide one immediate benefit, Reusable Coupons can be activated multiple times, and Timed Coupons remain active for a set duration and can affect multiple matching actions while active.

Coupon Pouches

Coupon Pouches give you a dedicated way to store and organize your collected coupons.

Pouches support different dye variants, sorting, automatic coupon activation, and quick access through the default P hotkey. With Curios installed, they can also function directly from an equipped belt slot.

Random Coupons and Daily Boosts

Empty Coupons can be rolled into random enabled coupons using configurable rarity weights.

Every day, selected coupon types or entire categories can also receive temporary boosts, giving them stronger discounts, additional uses, or longer active durations.

Built Into Survival Gameplay

Coupons are designed to become a natural part of normal Minecraft progression instead of relying on a separate progression system.

They can appear through chest loot, enemy drops, Wandering Trader offers, Villager profession trades, advancement rewards, and other configurable sources. Coupon availability, rarity, effects, durations, reusable use counts, and acquisition methods can all be adjusted to better fit different worlds, servers, and modpacks.
