About this project
What does Singular's Shared Items (SSI) add?
Singular's Shared Item (SSI) is a mod that allows you to access chests within a certain number of chunks without needing to open them; you can also craft items without opening a crafting table (chests and/or a crafting table must be present in the area to use these features).
How do I use it?
When you open your inventory, you will see an arrow; clicking it reveals all the chests you or another player have placed. You can deposit items into a specific chest or a random one without actually opening the chest itself: simply use Ctrl + Right-Click to deposit a single unit of the item, or Ctrl + Left-Click on the item to move the entire stack. To craft an item, you must also have a crafting table within the designated region (the region size can be customized by increasing the chunk count in the settings); then, click the button labeled "Remote 3x3 Crafting."
Compatibility
The mod uses a generic storage API, so it should work correctly with most storage mods; the mods tested and confirmed to work are: JEI, Sophisticated Storage, Tom's Simple Storage Mod, and Storage Drawers.
License
You can use the mod in your modpack; giving credit isn't mandatory, but I'd be happy if you did :)
The mod is under development; if you find any errors, please report them to me.
