About this project

What does H264 add?

H264 adds a set of in-game tools for groups of players who want to communicate and record together.

Players can send private and group messages to each other, share screenshots directly inside those conversations, and call one another without losing control of their character during the call. A live top-down map shows where everyone is, can be dragged and zoomed with the mouse, and lets you teleport to a spot or to another player. Spectators never appear on it.

A camera mode lets you frame shots in 16:9 or 9:16, flip the view to face yourself, and add a caption that is saved into the image. The hotbar and the rest of the HUD are hidden while aiming, so nothing appears on the picture.

The settings screen groups quick tools: switching game mode, infinite saturation, size effects applied to nearby players, clearing all effects, and restoring your personal keybinds and video settings in one click.

No mixins are used, so H264 stays safe to add to large modpacks.
