About this project
What does Crafting Head add?
CraftingHead
A server-side Fabric mod that crafts an official Minecraft player head from a player ID at an anvil.
Usage
- Place a wither skeleton skull in the anvil's left input slot.
- Prepare a written book whose first page contains only the target Java Edition player ID, for example
Notch. - Place the written book in the anvil's right material slot.
- Spend 1 experience level and take the matching player head.
Player IDs must be 1 to 16 ASCII letters, numbers, or underscores. Each craft consumes one wither skeleton skull and one written book. Player skins are resolved through Minecraft's official profile services, so the server must be able to reach Mojang's session services.
Requirements
- Minecraft 26.2
- Fabric Loader 0.19.3 or later
- Fabric API 0.158.0+26.2
- Java 25
