🌸 Breed new colours

Every flower has 16 different colour varieties.

The common ones resemble colours the plant could actually have. The rarer you go, the stranger they become — until you're growing colours that flower has absolutely no business being.

Place two different varieties next to each other and let them crossbreed. Keep experimenting until you've discovered them all.

🪴 Actually plant flowers inside pots

Flowers don't awkwardly sit on top of planters — they go inside them.

Aim at a planting slot, watch it highlight, and place the flower exactly where you want it.

Build your garden with:

Planters are available in terracotta and all 16 dye colours, so they can match almost any build.

🌍 Find flowers in the wild

Every species naturally grows somewhere in the world, with each flower tied to its own biome.

Find carnations in Flower Forests, lotus in Mangrove Swamps, crocus in Old Growth Pine Taiga, and many more across the world.

Some gardens require a little travelling.

💧 Keep your garden watered

Use one of six watering cans, or automate your garden with a sprinkler that waters an 11×11 area.

Forget to water your flowers and they'll wilt — but they will never permanently die.

One watering is enough to bring them back.

The Gardener's Journal keeps track of every flower variety you've discovered.

With 352 varieties in total, completing the collection is a challenge of its own.

You can also create bouquets that remember the exact flowers used to make them.

🌿 Shader-friendly flowers

Flowers use ordinary Minecraft-style cutout rendering, allowing shaderpacks to make them sway naturally in the wind, just like vanilla vegetation.
