About this project

What does Spawner Loot Reborn add?

SpawnerLoot Reborn

SpawnerLoot Reborn is a Minecraft Forge 1.12.2 addon that completely reworks the behavior of Draconic Evolution Stabilized Spawners.

The original idea was simple: why spawn hundreds of mobs, process their AI, kill them, collect their drops and build an entire mob farm around them when the Stabilized Spawner itself can act as the farm?

SpawnerLoot Reborn turns a Stabilized Spawner into a compact one-block mob farm.

Instead of spawning the selected creature into the world, the spawner generates its loot directly and sends it into a nearby inventory.

Features

One-block mob farms

Stabilized Spawners no longer need to fill the world with entities just to obtain their drops.

Insert a Mob Soul, place an inventory next to the spawner and let it work.

This can significantly reduce the amount of entities produced by large automated mob farms.

Modded mob support

SpawnerLoot Reborn is designed to work not only with vanilla mobs, but also with modded creatures.

The loot system has been tested with mobs from:

  • Vanilla Minecraft

  • DivineRPG

  • The Twilight Forest

  • Advent of Ascension

  • Thermal Foundation

Thermal Foundation mobs such as Blizz, Blitz and Basalz have dedicated fallback support for their special drops.

Stabilized Spawner tiers

The original Draconic Evolution progression remains important.

Default settings:

Basic

  • 10 second cycle

  • x1 loot

Wyvern

  • 7 second cycle

  • x2 loot

Draconic

  • 4 second cycle

  • x4 loot

Chaotic

  • 2 second cycle

  • x10 loot

These values are designed for large tech/magic modpacks and can be adjusted where applicable.

Mob Soul duplication

Every successful production cycle has a small chance to duplicate the Mob Soul currently used by the spawner.

Default chances:

  • Basic — 0.1%

  • Wyvern — 0.2%

  • Draconic — 0.4%

  • Chaotic — 1.0%

Spawner progression can further improve the soul duplication chance.

Spawner progression

Every Stabilized Spawner can develop independently.

SpawnerLoot Reborn adds its own XP system completely separate from normal Minecraft experience.

Maximum level: 100

XP required for the next level is calculated using:

1000 + level × 500 + level² × 50

A spawner gains XP by successfully producing loot and performing its normal work.

As the spawner levels up, it becomes progressively stronger.

Level bonuses

Spawner progression provides:

  • Every level: +0.1% production speed

  • Every 2 levels: +0.01% rare-drop bonus

  • Every 5 levels: +4% spawner XP gain

  • Every 10 levels: +1% loot quantity and +0.05% Mob Soul chance

  • Every 20 levels: +1 Luck

  • Every 50 levels: +1 additional loot roll

A level 100 spawner is therefore considerably more valuable than a freshly placed one.

Prestige system

Level 100 is not the end.

A max-level spawner can enter Prestige, resetting its normal level progression while gaining permanent progression bonuses.

There are five Prestige stages:

Prestige I — Awakened
Requires a Diamond Block.

Prestige II — Enlightened
Requires an Emerald Block.

Prestige III — Ancient
Requires a Golden Apple.

Prestige IV — Mythic
Requires an Enchanted Golden Apple.

Prestige V — Divine
Requires a Nether Star.

Each Prestige makes subsequent leveling more expensive while allowing the spawner's bonuses to become substantially stronger.

Prestige scaling is configurable, allowing pack developers to choose between reasonable progression for normal modpacks and intentionally extreme scaling for large endgame-oriented packs.

Spawner Analyzer

SpawnerLoot Reborn adds the Spawner Analyzer, a dedicated tool for inspecting Stabilized Spawners.

Right-click a supported spawner to see information such as:

  • Mob

  • Spawner tier

  • Level

  • Current XP

  • Prestige

  • Production statistics

  • Loot bonuses

  • Speed bonuses

  • Luck

  • Soul duplication bonuses

  • Additional loot rolls

No GUI is required — the information is displayed directly in chat.

Statistics

Every supported spawner tracks its own production statistics.

This includes information such as completed cycles, generated items and duplicated souls.

Progress and statistics are stored with the spawner and survive normal world saves and server restarts.

Safety and automation

SpawnerLoot Reborn checks the output inventory before completing production.

If the output cannot accept the generated items, the production process is stopped instead of throwing items into the world.

This helps prevent accidental item loss, unwanted entity accumulation and duplication issues.

Commands

SpawnerLoot Reborn includes administration and debugging commands:

/slr stats
Shows spawner statistics.

/slr debug
Displays technical information useful for diagnosing a spawner.

/slr resetstats
Resets stored statistics.

/slr reload
Reloads supported configuration without requiring a complete server restart.

Requirements

  • Minecraft 1.12.2

  • Minecraft Forge

  • Draconic Evolution

  • Brandon's Core

Why does the first public release start at 2.0.0?

Yes, you read that correctly.

SpawnerLoot Reborn is starting its public life with version 2.0.0.

Versions 1.x were used internally while the mod was being designed, rewritten and heavily tested.

During development we encountered broken loot behavior, compatibility problems with modded mobs, special cases such as Thermal Foundation drops, balance problems, duplicate-prevention issues and several iterations of the core spawner logic.

Rather than publishing those experimental builds and making players deal with the same bugs we did, the 1.x branch remained our development and testing ground.

So no, you didn't miss the public 1.0 release.

We simply decided that your first version should be the one we actually want people to play.

Here it is: SpawnerLoot Reborn 2.0.0. Fresh, tested and ready for your modpack.
