About this project
What does ItemFrames+ add?
Item Frames+
A Minecraft mod that makes item frames more useful by shrinking their hitboxes and letting you hide them.
Available for Fabric, Forge and NeoForge - Minecraft 1.16.5 through 26.3.
Features
- Shrunk hitboxes - item frames use a much smaller collision box, making it easier to place blocks and interact around them.
- Invisible item frames - shift + right-click a frame to toggle its visibility. The toggle is server-side, so everyone sees the same state.
- Per-player override - each player can force frames to be visible for themselves with
/itemframesplus invisibleItemFrames <true|false>. The preference is saved locally and synced to the server when you join.
Requirements
- Fabric - requires Fabric API
- Forge / NeoForge - no extra dependencies
Install the mod on both the client and the server for the full feature set: the server handles the visibility toggle and hitboxes, while the client provides the command and the per-player override.
Supported versions
Fabric 1.16.5 - 26.3 · Forge 1.18 - 26.3 · NeoForge 1.20.4 - 26.3 (1.20.5 is not supported). Check the Versions tab for the exact list.
