Conflux Map

Conflux Map is a feature-rich Fabric minimap and fullscreen world map built for both single-player exploration and multiplayer servers. It works as a client-only mod out of the box, while an optional Fabric or Paper server companion adds shared maps, public waypoints, terrain corrections, and a browser-based web map.

Minimap and fullscreen world map

• Choose a square or round minimap, resize it, rotate it with your view, and place it freely on the HUD.
• Open a fullscreen map with smooth panning, continuous zoom, cursor-centered zooming, and an optional chunk grid.
• View terrain, biomes, and chunk load levels through dedicated map modes.
• Switch between surface, cave, Nether, Nether-roof, and End-aware map layers.
• Automatically move the minimap around supported vanilla HUD elements instead of covering them.

Terrain autofill and structure finding

• Fill unexplored areas with deterministic terrain predictions when the world seed is available.
• Predict the Overworld, the Nether roof, and the End, then replace predictions with real terrain as it is explored or corrected by the server.
• Choose whether the map shows all predictions, generated areas only, or explored areas only.
• Browse vanilla structures with individual icons and category filters.
• Search for nearby structures and save a result directly as a waypoint.

Terrain prediction only affects the map. Conflux Map does not change world generation.

Waypoints and navigation

• Create local waypoints with custom names, colors, and sets.
• Keep configurable death points for each dimension.
• Display waypoints as in-world beams, labels, distances, or edge indicators.
• Optionally translate waypoint positions between the Overworld and Nether using the vanilla 1:8 coordinate ratio.
• Share coordinates in chat and import shared Conflux Map or Xaero coordinates with one click.
• Import existing waypoints from Xaero's Minimap and VoxelMap without modifying the original files.
• Use server-managed public waypoints when the optional companion is installed.

Drawing, trails, and map export

• Draw lines, rectangles, circles, freehand paths, and text labels on the map.
• Select, move, recolor, erase, undo, and redo map annotations.
• Show a configurable recent movement trail on the minimap and fullscreen map.
• Export a custom map area to PNG at a chosen resolution, with optional drawings included.

Entity radar and customization

• Display players, mobs, dropped items, vehicles, and projectiles with independent controls.
• Use detailed entity icons or simpler generic markers, with automatic grouping for crowded targets.
• Configure minimap appearance, information lines, waypoints, radar visibility, map layers, and keybinds in game.
• Replace toolbar icons and minimap frames through normal Minecraft resource packs.
• Reuse supported Xaero UI resource-pack assets while migrating.

Client-only and server-companion features

Conflux Map does not require installation on the server. A client-only installation provides the minimap, fullscreen map, local waypoints, death points, drawings, entity radar, map export, local terrain caching, and chat coordinate sharing.

The optional server companion adds:

• Low-bandwidth server-wide map synchronization
• Public waypoints shared by all Conflux Map clients
• Seed-based terrain and structure prediction controlled by the server
• Authoritative terrain corrections for predicted areas
• A chunk-ticket/load-level map
• A standalone browser web map
• Server-side privacy, permission, rate-limit, and bandwidth controls

Server operators decide which companion features are available. Seed sharing, biome maps, structure search, entity radar, chunk load states, terrain corrections, shared waypoints, and player visibility on the web map can be controlled independently.

The Fabric companion is included in the matching Conflux Map mod JAR. A standalone Paper companion is available for Paper servers from Minecraft 1.21.1 through 26.2. Client and server versions can be upgraded independently within the supported protocol range.

Installation

Client

1. Install Fabric Loader.
2. Install Fabric API.
3. Download the Conflux Map file that matches your Minecraft version and place it in the mods folder.

MaliLib is optional. When installed, it enables multi-key combinations and integrates Conflux Map with MaliLib's configuration interface on supported versions.

Fabric server companion

Place the matching Conflux Map mod JAR and Fabric API in the server's mods folder. Players without the client mod can still join the server normally.

Paper server companion

Place the standalone confluxmap-paper-<version>.jar in the server's plugins folder. The Paper companion supports Paper 1.21.1 through 26.2; it does not support Spigot, CraftBukkit, or Folia.

Fabric builds are available for:

• 1.18.2
• 1.20.1
• 1.21 through 1.21.11
• 26.1 through 26.2

Check the Files page and select the file made for your exact Minecraft version. Conflux Map is a Fabric mod and does not support Forge or NeoForge.

All keybinds can be changed from Minecraft's Controls screen.
