What does PetProtect add?

# PetProtect

PetProtect is a lightweight NeoForge mod for Minecraft 1.21.1 that prevents players from accidentally or intentionally damaging tamed pets while preserving the vanilla gameplay experience.

  • The mod protects tameable entities such as Wolves, Cats, Horses, Donkeys, Mules, Llamas, and other supported pets.
  • Server administrators can bypass pet protection using a regular **Stick** renamed in an **Anvil**. Hold the renamed Stick in your **main hand** to temporarily bypass protection.
  • The permission names can be changed or expanded in the configuration file (config/petprotect-common.toml), allowing multiple custom names if desired.
  • The mod is fully configurable, including pet protection, Creative Mode bypass, the Permission Stick system, and custom permission names.
