jaizmod-26.2.jar. Change the file and its required mods may change too.

All 2 required mods have matching files

Install TerraBlender (Fabric), Fabric API first. We found matching files for this game-version and loader setup.

About this project

What does Jaiz: Continued add?

JaizMod Continued

Do you remember finding a strange creature in a familiar biome and stopping for a moment because you had no idea what it was going to do?

That was part of the charm of JaizMod and Jaiz Mobs. They did not try to turn Minecraft into a completely different game. Instead, they filled the existing world with unusual creatures, hidden places, new plants, odd items and small discoveries that made exploring feel fresh again.

JaizMod Continued brings the content of both original mods together and makes it playable on Minecraft Java 26.2 with Fabric.

If you played an older release, several creatures and features should feel familiar. Others came from the sister project and may feel like content you somehow missed the first time around.

What is included

The current release contains 32 creatures spread across the Overworld, Nether and End.

Some are peaceful background creatures. Some can be fed, tamed, ridden or interacted with. Others are dangerous enough that meeting one without armor armor may be a very short experience.

The combined mod also includes:

  • Mahogany Forest and Fruit Bat Caves
  • Mahogany, Desert Oak and Rotten wood families
  • New plants, flowers and natural decorations
  • Tea, food and other consumable items
  • Sulfur ore
  • Weapons, equipment and armor trims
  • Desert structures and other world-generation additions
  • Mimic pots and pottery-related loot
  • New drops and crafting materials
  • A welcome field guide given to each player the first time they enter a world
  • Translations for several languages

Continued version and support

The Minecraft 26.2 port and its current maintenance are handled by me, ChromusMaster, as a personal porting challenge.

All bugs involving the continued 26.2 version must be reported through the new issue tracker.

Please do not report problems from this port on the original CurseForge pages or original repositories. The original author is not responsible for bugs introduced by the 26.2 port.

When reporting a problem, include:

  • JaizMod Continued version
  • Minecraft version
  • Fabric Loader version
  • Fabric API version
  • TerraBlender version
  • Steps needed to reproduce the problem
  • latest.log
  • Crash report, when one was generated

Requirements

Terraform Wood API is already bundled with the JaizMod file and does not need to be installed separately.

For multiplayer, JaizMod, Fabric API and TerraBlender must be installed on both the client and the server.

World generation

A new world is recommended so the new biomes, structures, trees, ores and other generated features can appear naturally.

The mod may also be added to an existing world, but world-generation content will generally appear only in chunks that have not been explored before.

Always make a backup before adding or removing world-generation mods from an existing save.

Credits and rights

All rights and credits for the original code, artwork, textures, sounds, music, creature designs, features and ideas remain with Jaiz and the original contributors.

I'm responsible only for combining the projects, porting them to Minecraft 26.2, correcting compatibility problems and maintaining this continued version.

This continuation does not transfer ownership of the original work.
