About this project

What does Instinct add?

Discover your hidden instincts and use them against your enemies!

This is my very first minecraft mod, but I've been coding in java for around 3 and a half years now.

When your health is below half and you see text flickering in the top right corner, you can use adrenaline!

Adrenaline

Press G to use adrenaline. When activated, you gain speed 2, resistance 1, and glowing for 30 seconds. On top of that, you have a 30% chance to randomly dodge attacks coming your way, which will make you step back two blocks. After its over, you have to suffer 30 seconds of aftereffects, which are hunger 2, weakness 1, and slowness 1.

Rage

Adrenaline isn't the only thing part of your instincts. You also have your Rage. To use Rage, first you must fill up the bloodlust bar in the top left corner by killing enemies. Once you have 20 kills, the bloodlust bar will be full and ready to use.

Note: You can only activate Rage with a full bloodlust bar.

While in Rage, you gain strength 2. Every 3 seconds, you will lose one bloodlust and take a proportional amount of damage depending on how much bloodlust you've lost(meaning that the more bloodlust you lose, the more damage you take). You can press the Rage activation key once more(H) to deactivate it early, thus saving bloodlust(and probably your life considering how much damage it does).

Final Stand(FINISHED)

Lastly, there is a Final Stand mechanic. If you press the adrenaline activation key and the Rage key at the same time while holding a totem of undying, you will activate final stand and consume the totem. BE CAREFUL: When final stand is activated, Rage and adrenaline are UNUSABLE! Upon taking lethal damage and having unlocked final stand through this ritual, you will survive on half a heart and gain immortality for 7 seconds. During this time, you are heavily slowed(slowness 2), but you gain a crazy amount of strength(strength 10), making these 7 seconds truly your final stand. After these 7 seconds are over, your death is all but guaranteed.

Are you ready to stand up one last time and take your enemy down with you? The choice lies in your hands.

That's all for now. Have fun!
