About this project

What does BountyHunter add?

Bounty Hunter

English

Turn your Minecraft server into a world of contracts, dangerous hunts, and valuable rewards with Bounty Hunter!

Bounty Hunter introduces a complete player bounty system. Players can place diamond rewards on other players, accept hunting contracts, track their targets with a special compass, and earn the promised reward after completing the hunt.

When a bounty is accepted, the hunter receives a tracking compass and a collectible WANTED poster containing information about the target. The compass updates periodically and points toward the target whenever the hunter and target are online and in the same dimension.

Main Features

  • Create bounties using diamonds as the reward.

  • Accept contracts to become the official hunter.

  • Track targets using a special named compass.

  • Receive collectible WANTED posters.

  • View the target, reward, creator, hunter, and current status.

  • Automatically reward the accepted hunter after a successful kill.

  • Announce completed hunts to the entire server.

  • Save active bounties when the server restarts.

  • Prevent targets from accepting their own bounties.

  • Allow only one active hunter per target, preventing conflicting contracts.

  • Allow bounty creators and server administrators to cancel contracts.

  • English in-game messages suitable for international servers.

Commands

/bounty add <player> <amount>

Creates a bounty on an online player. The amount represents the number of diamonds offered as the reward.

Example:

/bounty add Steve 32

/bounty accept <player>

Accepts an available bounty. The hunter receives a tracking compass and a WANTED poster.

Example:

/bounty accept Steve

/bounty poster <player>

Creates a collectible WANTED poster for an active bounty. The poster displays the target’s name, diamond reward, bounty creator, and hunter status.

Example:

/bounty poster Steve

/bounty cancel <player>

Cancels an active bounty. Only the bounty creator or a server operator can cancel it.

Example:

/bounty cancel Steve

/bounty list

Displays all active bounties, their rewards, and whether they are open or already accepted.

Bounty Rules

  • Players cannot place bounties on themselves.

  • Targets cannot accept their own bounties.

  • Each target can have only one active bounty.

  • Each bounty can have only one accepted hunter.

  • The bounty creator must have enough diamonds when creating the contract.

  • Diamonds are transferred when the accepted hunter successfully eliminates the target.

  • The bounty creator must be online and still have enough diamonds for payment.

  • If payment cannot be completed, the bounty remains active.

  • Only a kill credited directly to the accepted hunter completes the bounty.

  • The tracking compass works only while the hunter and target are in the same dimension.

  • Active bounties are saved in the world and remain available after server restarts.

Requirements

  • Minecraft Java Edition 26.2

  • Fabric Loader 0.19.3 or newer

  • Fabric API compatible with Minecraft 26.2

  • Java 25 or newer

Because Bounty Hunter adds a custom WANTED poster item, the mod and Fabric API must be installed on the server and on every player’s client.

Installation

  1. Install Fabric Loader for Minecraft 26.2.

  2. Download and install Fabric API.

  3. Place the Bounty Hunter .jar file inside the mods folder.

  4. Install the same mod and Fabric API versions on the server and all clients.

  5. Start Minecraft and begin creating contracts.

Bounty Hunter is currently an early release. Back up your world before installing or updating mods, especially when using the mod on an important multiplayer server.

Bounty Hunter

Recursos principais

  • Crie recompensas utilizando diamantes.

  • Aceite contratos e torne-se o caçador oficial.

  • Rastreie alvos com uma bússola especial.

  • Receba cartazes de procurado colecionáveis.

  • Veja o alvo, recompensa, criador, caçador e estado do contrato.

Comandos

/bounty add <jogador> <quantidade>

Cria uma recompensa sobre um jogador online. A quantidade representa o número de diamantes oferecidos.

Exemplo:

/bounty add Steve 32

/bounty accept <jogador>

Exemplo:

/bounty poster Steve

/bounty cancel <jogador>

  5. Inicie o Minecraft e comece a criar contratos.
