What does Farmer+ add?

FarmerAI enhances farmer behavior, allowing them to eat crops to reproduce and deposit surpluses into nearby chests. Farmers harvest ripe crops and plant wheat, carrots, potatoes, and beets in fields up to 4 blocks from their assigned composter. The mod runs on Fabric for Minecraft Java 26.2 and can only be installed on a server.

FarmerAI expands the behavior of Minecraft farmers:

  • FarmerAI Features

    • Automatically harvests fully grown crops.
    • Replants crops after harvesting.
    • Repairs damaged farmland.
    • Works within four blocks of a composter.
    • Supports wheat, carrots, potatoes, beetroots, melons, pumpkins, sugar cane, nether wart, and sweet berries.
    • Uses bone meal to accelerate crop growth.
    • Stores harvested crops in an assigned chest or barrel.
    • Collects planting materials and bone meal from storage.
    • Keeps a reserve of planting materials.
    • Finds an accessible position next to its assigned container.
    • Eats food to prepare for breeding.
    • Can follow players and be hired for emeralds.
    • Allows its owner to assign a specific crop and storage container.
    • Saves contracts, ownership, crop selection, and storage assignments after server restarts.
    • Produces sounds and particles when hired, dismissed, or killed.
    • Respects vanilla villager schedules, mobGriefing, panic, raids, trading, and sleeping.
