About this project
What does Forge & Fury add?
Forge & Fury is a Fabric content-expansion mod for Minecraft that adds weapons and tools with their own active abilities.
Items
- **Duskrend** – Lifesteal blade: every hit heals you for 25% of the damage dealt.
- **Fire Axe** – Sneak-click to cycle three right-click abilities: a piercing fireball, a five-wave meteor barrage, and a fiery AoE swing that ignites the ground.
- **Frozen Fang** – Sword that slows enemies on hit and chips through ice blocks with extra flair.
- **Gravity Inverter** – Right-click to levitate yourself, or sneak-right-click to launch a target skyward instead.
- **Healing Staff** – Right-click heals whatever ally you're aiming at (or yourself), curing fire and debuffs too.
- **Infernal Bow** – Flaming arrows; a full draw detonates on impact into a fire ring, meteor shower, and fire tornado, scaling with the Power enchantment.
- **Ruiner** – Fast pickaxe that vein-mines: one swing shatters the 3×3×3 of blocks around the one you mined (anything up to obsidian), and Fortune, Silk Touch and protection mods still apply to all of them.
- **Storm Caller Bow** – Arrows call down lightning on impact, with a chance to home in mid-flight and an electrified shockwave that damages and staggers everything nearby.
- **Storm Fang** – Sword with a chance per hit to slow enemies or strike them with lightning; sneak-right-click unleashes a 3-target lightning burst and buffs you with Speed and Resistance.
- **Storm Shaper Staff** – Right-click calls down a cluster of lightning strikes that chain between enemies; enough casts in quick succession summon a real thunderstorm.
- **Titan's Hammer** – Every hit sends out a knockback shockwave; right-click slams the ground for an AoE earthquake.
Enchantments
ONLY AFTER VERSION 1.0.3
**Bows and crossbows**
- **Explosive Tip** (II) – The arrow explodes where it lands. Bigger per level and with Power; never breaks blocks or hurts you or your pets.
- **Ricochet** (II) – The arrow bounces off blocks once or twice, keeping 75% of its speed.
- **Homing** (III) – The arrow curves toward hostile mobs, players you can harm, or mobs hunting you.
**Tools**
- **Magnetism** – Block and mob-kill drops go straight into your inventory (pickaxes, axes, shovels, hoes, the Ruiner and swords).
- **Longarm** (II) – +1 / +2 blocks of mining and placing reach.
- **Timber** – Fells a whole tree in one swing.
- **Smelting Touch** – Block drops come out smelted. Can't combine with Silk Touch.
**Armor**
- **Lifespring** (IV) – Below 40% health you get a burst of Regeneration, longer and more often per level (3 s every 13 s up to 6 s every 7 s, Regeneration II from level III).
- **Vitality** (IV) – Chestplates. +1 heart of max health per level.
- **Adrenaline** (II) – Leggings. Taking a hit gives you Speed I for 3 / 5 seconds.
- **Stride** (III) – Boots. Step up full blocks without jumping, plus +4% movement speed per level.
**Custom items**
- **Resonance** (III) – Shortens ability cooldowns by 15% per level on the Fire Axe, Titan's Hammer, Storm Fang, both staffs and the Gravity Inverter.
- **Overload** – The same items hit bigger and harder (×1.35 reach, damage, healing and duration) but cool down 1.5× slower. The Fire Axe fireball fires three.
Finding them
Every enchant is in the enchanting table, in librarian trades, and in random chests, with extra chances in specific places: fletcher, armorer and toolsmith trades, the Hero of the Village gifts, and structure chests like the pillager outpost, desert and jungle temples, shipwrecks, mineshafts, the end city, the ancient city and the bastion. Resonance and Overload also drop from trial chamber vaults.
