About this project

What does BigStacks add?

BigStacks lets you break the vanilla 99-item stack limit. Set a global max stack size (as high as you want: 256, 1024, 4096...) and create per-item or per-tag overrides to fine-tune each item individually.

Features

  • Global max stack — one value for every item, no more 99 cap.
  • Per-item / per-tag overrides — e.g. minecraft:dirt or #minecraft:planks with their own limit.
  • Config GUI — run /bigstacks quicksetup (or the Config button in the Mods menu) with a slider, presets and an editable override list.
  • True persistence — stacks above 99 save and load correctly in your world.
  • Server-friendly — works in singleplayer and multiplayer.
  • Translations — English and Spanish.

Commands

  • /bigstacks global set <value> — set the global max.
  • /bigstacks override add|remove <id> <max> — manage overrides.
  • /bigstacks info — show the current config.
  • /bigstacks quicksetup — open the config GUI.

Getting started

When you join an unconfigured world you'll see a prompt: click /bigstacks quicksetup, move the slider or pick a preset, and save. Done.
