About this project

What does Delivery Service add?

Craft packages out of a chest surrounded by paper. These are blocks which have 2 uses.

  1. As a container with 9 slots that can be picked up like a shulker box without dropping its items.
  2. As a way to capture small animals. Packaged animals will be released when the block is broken

When placed, the package can be transported around the world with the new item, the Scanner.

The Scanner is a device that can create links to lodestones, and when used on a package, will teleport the package to the space above the specified lodestone, or into the container above the lodestone. This will take durability, but can be repaired with an ender pearl.

The Scanner can also teleport the package to any online player, with a cooldown. Send gifts to friends, or engage in honor system trading.

And for added flair, you can dye your scanner, which can help you differentiate between them if you need to store many lodestone locations.
