About this project

What does Stun! add?

This mod adds a simple stun mechanic to Minecraft's combat system:

-When you hit a mob, mod assigns an NBT tag (stun_points) with a specific value (default is 100, can be configured using commands)

-Each hit on a mob takes away a certain amount of stun points (default 10, can be adjusted via commands)

-When stun points drop to 0, crit and soulfire particles appear, and the sound of the anvil landing is played, mob enters a stun state!

Stun

-While stunned, mob cannot do anything and also takes double damage.(stun state lasts for 3 seconds)

-Mod also automatically increases mobs' HP by 5 times (the multiplier can be adjusted using commands)

In-game commands:

/stunsystemlogic sound (true/false) - Turns on/off sound of anvil landing when stunning mob
/stunsystemlogic particles (true/false) - Turns on/off particles when stunning mob

/stunsystemvalues damage [value] - changes stun damage
/stunsystemvalues stunpoints [value] - changes stun points
/stunsystemvalues hp [value] - changes hp multiplier

IMPORTANT:

-This mod is not aimed at PvP, stun system only works on mobs, I don't plan to create a stun system for the player yet

-Mod has not been tested in multiplayer

Planned additions/changes:

-Custom stun damage for various weapons

-Ability to turn off sounds/particles when an enemy is stunned via commands

-A bar showing mob's stun points

-Custom particles

-Enchantments

-Potions
