About this project
What does Innutrient add?

Innutrient
Stop living on steak alone.
Innutrient adds a flexible nutrition system that encourages you to eat a varied and balanced diet instead of relying on the same food forever.
Different foods contribute to different nutritional groups, and your diet develops naturally depending on what you actually eat.
🍎 Eat varied. Stay balanced.
Innutrient tracks several nutritional groups such as:
- Fruits
- Vegetables
- Grains
- Proteins
- Sugars
Eating different kinds of food keeps your nutrition balanced, while relying too heavily on only one type of food can leave other groups neglected.
Your current nutrition can be viewed directly through a dedicated interface integrated into the player inventory.
🍲 Made for modded food
Innutrient is designed with large modpacks in mind.
Complex meals can derive their nutritional composition from the ingredients used to make them.
For example:
Bread + Beef + Vegetables → a meal containing Grains, Protein and Vegetables
This allows many modded dishes to work naturally without every single meal needing its own manually defined nutrition values.
Native compatibility with major food mods such as Farmer's Delight is also part of Innutrient's integration system.
⚙️ Fully customizable
Nutrition is intentionally data-driven.
Modpack creators can customize:
- nutritional groups;
- foods belonging to each group;
- nutrient values;
- gain and decay rates;
- healthy ranges;
- bonuses and penalties;
- modded foods;
- automatic recipe-based nutrition;
- individual food overrides.
Food groups themselves are not fixed, allowing modpacks to create entirely new nutrition systems if desired.
