About this project
What does Hardcore Beyond add?
You won't make it through the first week.
This isn't a figure of speech.
This mod doesn't make Minecraft "harder": it slowly takes away the things you rely on without even thinking about them.
And it only warns you once.
You begin fragile and powerless, at the mercy of the hostile world around you.
The rest, you'll discover when it matters.
Because to truly enjoy a difficult mod, you shouldn't be told too much.
It will never kill you without a reason.
That's the only promise this mod makes.
And it keeps that promise from beginning to end.
Everything that can kill you gives you a warning.
A sign the day before.
A sound.
A number slowly dropping right in front of you.
There are no hidden traps.
No random deaths.
No "there was no way you could have known."
Unless...
After every death, you'll know exactly what you should have done.
That's precisely what makes it hurt.
This mod is for you if:
- You've finished vanilla Hardcore and found it boring.
- Dying because of your own negligence interests you more than dying because an enemy simply has bigger numbers.
- You're willing to take notes, plan expeditions, and abandon a route because you don't have what it takes to survive it.
- You'd rather understand why you died than immediately start over.
This mod is not for you if:
- You just want to play for an hour in the evening without having to think.
- You're mainly looking for collectible content.
- Losing two hours of progress is enough to make you close the game.
No judgment.
This is a demanding mod.
It doesn't have to be for everyone.
Before installing
Minecraft 1.20.1 — Fabric only
Fabric API required ( fabric-api-0.92.11+1.20.1.jar )
Java 17
Must be installed on both the client and server sides.
No configuration files.
The mod is designed to be played exactly as it is.
It's an experience, not a toolbox.
Aucun jugement.
C'est un mod exigeant.
Il n'a pas à plaire à tout le monde.
Avant d'installer
Minecraft 1.20.1 Fabric uniquement
Fabric API requis ( fabric-api-0.92.11+1.20.1.jar )
