About this project

What does brashroots add?

Brash Roots is a lightweight Minecraft 1.20.1 Forge addon for Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks.

The mod adds a beneficial status effect called Brash. While an entity has this effect, the nature spell Root cannot entangle or capture it. The spell's root effect is removed when it attempts to affect a protected entity, allowing the entity to move freely.

Features

  • Adds the beneficial Brash status effect.
  • Prevents the Root spell from entangling entities with the effect.
  • Includes a custom effect icon.
  • Works with players and other living entities.
  • Designed as a small compatibility addon with no client-side setup required.

Effect ID

brashroots:brash

Testing the effect

Use the following command in-game:

/effect give @s brashroots:brash 999999 0 true

After the effect is applied, the Root spell will no longer be able to entangle you.

Installation

  1. Install Minecraft 1.20.1 with Forge.
  2. Install Iron's Spells 'n Spellbooks and its required dependencies.
