Welcome to Phrix, Phrox, a mod about curses and the like.

Rediscover wisdom lost to mankind, appeal to divine powers,

and crucify all who wrong you.

To Get Started:

• Craft yourself a Writing Desk, found from locating Limestone found within shallow layers near cliffs or shallow areas of water. You might be able to craft if yourself, if you're smart enough!

• Locate a Bath Ruins, a vast underground structure found in Plains near mountains and forests. If you begin to see suspiciously structured piles of limestone, start digging.

• Harvest the worn Pipe Remnants to make Lead Tablets and a Cursed Stylus, and begin your forbidden journey into the past.

  How To Curse:

• Alas, you must acquire more wisdom. Find Scrolls within the ruins of these baths, read them, and you will have acquired the knowledge needed to punish those who wrong you. Scrolls can rarely be found from villager houses, and the rare Traveling Conniseurs will offer them -- but at a high price.
• Use the Focus needed for your Curse in its inscription, and -- voilá! -- you have created a Defixion.
• Now, you may bind this curse to an item by shift-right-clicking it with the item in your offhand. Beware, however -- this will permanently curse the item you choose, and the tablet's curse can no longer be changed or wiped away.
• If a thief happens to acquire this item without your permission, seal the curse with a Nail and throw it into a 7x7 water source near your Altar of the Wise One, Sulis -- she will exact revenge for you, but at the cost your devotion.
