About this project

What does Omenwake add?

Omenwake

⚠️ Use the command /omenwake testing on for a demonstration of this mod's encounters, catalog, etc...

Omenwake is an encounter mod for Fabric. Ordinary server-observed actions can begin configurable encounters while keeping their exact triggers hidden until discovery. The user must overcome these encounters to gradually gain greater immunity against them, as well as points (redeemable for configurable items in future versions).

Requirements

  • Minecraft Java Edition 26.2
  • Fabric Loader 0.19.3 or newer
  • Fabric API
  • Java 25

Current Content

The current production catalog contains twelve combat encounters. All production encounters use the supported block-break, crop-harvest, furnace-output, container-open, and sleep triggers, share the owner-only player-kill objective, and clean up their temporary entities when they complete, evade, fail, cancel, or the server stops.

Completing an encounter grants protection against later selected activations of that same encounter. Protection prevents an instance from starting, consumes one charge, and does not apply the normal encounter-start cooldown.

Encounter Catalog

Open Controls and bind Open Encounter Catalog in the Omenwake category. The catalog shows only the server-approved projection for the current player; undiscovered entries do not reveal their trigger or objective.

Commands

All Omenwake commands require administrator permissions.

Command Purpose
/omenwake catalog Opens the encounter catalog
/omenwake debug start Starts a small debug encounter at the executing player's position.
/omenwake debug selection on Enables encounter selection diagnostics in the server log.
/omenwake debug selection off Disables encounter selection diagnostics.
/omenwake testing on Temporarily reveals every encounter in every online player's catalog, forces all activation chances to 100%, and ignores encounter cooldowns.
/omenwake testing off Disables testing mode and restores the normal catalog projection, activation chances, and cooldown behavior.
/omenwake debug probability set <encounter> <value> Temporarily overrides one encounter probability, from 0.0 to 1.0.
/omenwake debug probability clear <encounter> Clears one temporary probability override.
/omenwake debug probability max_all Temporarily sets every loaded encounter probability to 1.0.
/omenwake debug cooldown clear [player] Clears encounter cooldowns for the executor or the selected player.
