About this project

What does Rocketry Warfare add?

ROCKETRY WARFARE

Guided Missiles, Radar Networks & Automated Air Defense

introduction

Rocketry Warfare introduces advanced missile combat to Minecraft Forge 1.20.1, allowing you to deploy offensive launchers, program specific targets, set up radar networks, and use automated interceptor systems to defend areas.

Each missile is represented by a detailed 3D model using gltf models and travels along a dynamic flight path from launch to impact, including booster flames, thick smoke trails, distant glow, immersive sounds, and dynamic expanding explosions.

LAUNCHERS & MISSILES

You can select among a number of missile types, such as the Exocet MM40 Block 3, P-800 Yakhont, C-802, C-705, and Tetral Mistral. Each missile has its own model, size, warhead power, blast effect, and degree of destructive capability.

Missiles have to be made and then put into a launcher that is compatible with them; they can not be placed and fired directly from the ground.

Offensive Missile Systems

The offensive launcher has eight missiles which can be individually programmed. Put missiles into the launcher's tubes, open its controls by right clicking with an empty hand, and assign separate target coordinates to each loaded missile.

When redstone provides power, the launcher turns towards its predetermined target, moves into firing position, and launches its missiles until the signal is stopped.
Automated Air Defense

Defence launchers detect and intercept missiles reported by a connected radar system. They turn towards each threat and fire interceptor missiles from their available ammunition.

Defense interceptors cannot be placed by hand or loaded into offensive launchers. After firing, launchers must be manually reloaded using crafted Defense Interceptor Missiles.

Radar Networks

Defence radars can scan 512 blocks for incoming missiles. Use the Defence System Link to connect multiple radars and launchers into a single coordinated network.

By sharing targets and engagement priorities, linked defence systems avoid wasting multiple interceptors on the same threat while other incoming missiles remain unattended.

Realistic Missile launching

After launch, missiles rise smoothly, proceed at high altitude, and descend as they approach their target. Their engines emit bright booster exhaust, leave persistent smoke, and create a visible distant flare that helps players see distant missiles across the sky.

Impact explosions are dense and expand gradually, with their size and destructive capacity determined by the missile's warhead.

SURVIVAL READY

There is a survival crafting recipe for every missile, launcher, radar, interceptor, and network tool. More powerful and destructive weapons require increasingly valuable materials, making a complete missile network an expensive project.
