About this project

What does Bundle Catcher add?

Bundle Catcher turns the bundle into a catcher's mitt. Hold it, time your right-click, and snatch incoming projectiles out of the air — straight into the bundle.

HOW IT WORKS
Right-clicking with a bundle opens a short catch window (6 ticks by default). Any enabled projectile flying at you within reach gets caught and stored — if the bundle has room for it. Miss, and the bundle goes on a short cooldown: watch the sweep on the item to know when you can try again.

CATCHABLE OUT OF THE BOX

  • Arrows
  • Splash and lingering potions — yes, the witch's
  • Snowballs, eggs, ender pearls, eyes of ender
  • Bottles o' enchanting, firework rockets, wind charges
  • Items thrown at you

Tridents and ghast/blaze fireballs can be enabled in the config.

THE FINE PRINT
Vanilla bundle rules apply: a full bundle catches nothing, and a potion takes up the entire bundle, so bring an empty one. Catching a thrown ender pearl cancels its teleport. A caught eye of ender never shatters.

Requires Fabric API.
